Jan. 8th: The fourth day of the Novena in preparation for the Infant Jesus Feast was marked by deep devotion and vibrant participation of the faithful. The day’s theme, ‘Make every effort to confirm your calling,’ was reflected upon in the light of the writings of St. John of the Cross, highlighting the call to perseverance, interior discipline, and faithful commitment to one’s Christian vocation.”

Marking 300 years of St. John of the Cross being declared a saint (1726–2026) and 100 years of his proclamation as a Doctor of the Church (1926–2026), a special exhibition was inaugurated by Fr. Sunil Praveen Pinto, Principal of St. Ann’s English Medium School, Kadaba. The exhibition aimed at familiarising the faithful with the life and teachings of St. John of the Cross. Creative displays, including stars, posters, and drawings of the Infant Jesus prepared by devotees were showcased for the devotees. These works were part of competitions held during the Christmas season
A spirit of hospitality prevailed as a sumptuous meal was served to all attendees, fostering a sense of unity and togetherness. Later in the evening, after the 6.00pm mass, the congregation came together for the Infant Jesus Rosary. This solemn prayer session was a highlight of the day, with devotees united in their prayers, reflecting their trust and reverence for the Infant Jesus.




















The church witnessed a remarkable turnout today, with pews filled as worshippers gathered in large numbers to express their faith and devotion.
