Jan 11, Sunday: Religious and Vocation Promotion Day was observed with deep devotion centred on the theme “I will make streams in the desert” inspired by the spiritual teachings of St. John of the Cross. The day highlighted God’s transformative grace that brings life, hope, and renewal even amid trials and moments of spiritual dryness.

Nine Holy Masses were celebrated in various languages, enabling devotees from diverse linguistic backgrounds to participate actively in the liturgical celebrations. Religious priests and nuns were specially remembered in prayer, and the faithful were encouraged to reflect on vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life as paths of faithful surrender and selfless service. Following the 10:30 a.m. Mass, a special Eucharistic adoration was held, focusing on prayers for religious priests, sisters, vocations to the priesthood, and the faithful.

The day also held special significance as the Shrine, built on 11 January 1996marked the completion of 30 years with a solemn observance of thanksgiving and remembrance. Gratitude was offered to God for three decades of abundant grace and blessings received through the Shrine’s ministry.

The celebrations concluded on a spiritually uplifting note in the evening. After the 6:00 p.m. Mass  the Infant Jesus Rosary was recited, followed by a solemn procession carrying the statue of the Infant Jesus through the shrine premises. Accompanied by vibrant hymns and heartfelt prayers, the procession created an atmosphere of deep devotion, spiritual renewal and joy.
