Mangaluru, Sept 27: The book Highway to Heaven, inspired by the life of young Saint Carlo Acutis, was released during the Kanni Kanni Kantha-2025 programme at the Infant Jesus Shrine hall, Bikarnakatte, on Saturday.
The release was done by Mr. Praveen Tauro, President of Daiji Dubai (Mangalore Unit), in the presence of Fr. Melvin D’Cunha OCD (Superior of St. Joseph’s Monastery), Fr. Ivan D’Souza OCD (Director, Dhyanavana Publications), and Fr. Stifan Perera OCD (Director, Infant Jesus Shrine).
Before unveiling the book, Fr. Stifan Perera shared an inspiring account of Blessed Carlo, renowned for his devotion to the Eucharist and his vibrant witness of faith in the digital age.
Authored by Fr. Jocy Siddakatte OCD, the book highlights Carlo’s love for the Eucharist, his creative use of technology to spread the Gospel, and his simple yet profound path to holiness—a timely inspiration for today’s youth.
