Jan 12, Moday: The day witnessed vibrant participation from devotees, withnine Holy Masses celebrated in various languages, reflecting the Church’s inclusive and universal spirit. The day’s theme, “We are being transformed into His image,” inspired by the teachings of St. John of the Cross, emphasized interior transformation and deeper union with Christ. All nine Masses wereoffered for those engaged in spreading the Good News through media recognizing the vital role of media in evangelization and faith formation.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Thomas D’Souza, Archbishop Emeritus of Calcuttaand presently serving asAssistant Parish Priest at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Barasatoffered the10:30 a.m. Holy Massand prayed for theintentions of the devotees.

After the 10:30 a.m. Mass, a special adoration was held, dedicated to praying for media personnel. The adoration created a serene and reflective atmosphere, inviting participants to seek strength and guidance for their mission as educators and witnesses of faith. Many attendees expressed their deep gratitude for this meaningful and prayerful moment.

In the spirit of community and hospitality, an afternoon meal was served to all devotees who visited the shrine. The meal was a gesture of care and fellowship, embodying the Christian values of sharing and generosity. Volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone was served with love and respect.

The evening’s activities added a beautiful culmination to the day’s events. Following the 6:00 PM Mass, the Infant Jesus Rosary was recited, drawing a large gathering of devotees. The rosary was followed by a solemn procession, during which the statue of the Infant Jesus was carried through the shrine’s premises. The procession was marked by vibrant hymns, prayers, and a deep sense of devotion, creating an atmosphere of spiritual renewal and joy.
