The ninth day of the Infant Jesus Novena was observed with deep devotion, a strong sense of unity, and a renewed commitment to service. The day was specially dedicated to the sick and the physically challenged, under the theme “Tell all that the Lord has done,” inspired by the teachings of St. John of the Cross.

The day began early with the celebration of nine Holy Masses in various languages, reflecting the rich diversity of the devotional community. Devotees participated in large numbers, offering prayers of thanksgiving and intercession. A special Eucharistic adoration was held, during which prayers were offered particularly for the sick and those suffering from physical challenges. Fostering the spirit of fraternity and togetherness, lunch was served to all devotees present.

The evening celebrations held special significance with a solemn Holy Mass presided over by the Provincial Superior, Rev. Fr. Silvester D’Souza, OCD, commemorating Carmelite Fraternity Day. Several priests concelebrated the Mass, highlighting the unity and collective spirit of the Carmelite family.

Following the Eucharistic celebration, a literary event marked another highlight of the day with the release of two books: Saint Carlo Acutis: A Cyber Apostle of the Third Millennium by Fr. Richard Francis D’Souza, OCD, and Called, Formed, and Sent by Fr. Sandeep Kumar J., OCD, which offers a profound roadmap for the Christian journey of faith and mission.

The day concluded with the solemn recitation of the Infant Jesus Rosary, followed by a blessing ceremony. United in prayer, the faithful invoked the intercession of the Infant Jesus for peace, unity, healing, and guidance.
Overall, the ninth day of the Novena served as a powerful reminder of the strength found in prayer, service, and unity, leaving a lasting spiritual impression on all who participated.
